Triangle Disc Jockey Association's 2006 Disc Jockey of the Year

With numerous years of DJing experience under his belt, his favorite styles of music are the 70's 80's and 90's music. His arsenal of song selections range from slow oldies to modern dance, from big band and beach to hip-hop and R&B, from golden rock & roll classics to modern metal and hard rock classics.

Tracy started off working in bars and nightclubs serving drinks. With a flair for music, he learned from many local talented disc jockey how to read a crowd and play what they wanted to hear. Breaking out from behind the bar and into the mobile DJ scene as a roadie and sometimes light tech, Tracy stayed close to the party environment, learning his craft from award winning DJs.

Finally, with enough examples of how to play and the determination to improve on what he learned, Tracy broke out and started playing the music incorporated into a three-man-show. That show was interactive and entertaining. It played for many local companies and numerous weddings. In addition to a team environment, Tracy has played many parties and events by himself.

Then in 2003, Tracy ventured into the club DJ scene. He worked with Club 54 at the Thursday night DJ. Apparently he was doing something right and moved into doing both Thursday and Saturday nights. The more he played for the club the more adept he became at reading the crowd, staying current on music and providing a scene with the right entertainment. Tracy left Club 54 to return to the mobile DJ market with the experience and knowledge to provide and enhance any party he plays.

Telenko Site & Sound has been accepted into the Triangle Disc Jockey Association and is a proud member in good standing.
